So did your kids go bonkers over this?
Well, apparently, my oldest son has not believed in Santa for 5 years, although we didn't know it. Granted, he's 11. I suspected that he didn't believe, but he never actually came out and said it, until he made a remark about Santa not liking beer, this year. (My hubby is deployed, and I don't like beer.)
Now, my 8yo had decided he didn't believe in Santa. But, when he saw those footprints, he believed. ;) He did, however, comment that it was rude of Santa not to clean up after himself.
For my youngest, 5, it wasn't a big deal. To him, Santa comes. It doesn't matter if he leaves proof or not, the presents are proof enough. He thinks we should clean out the fireplace next year on Christmas Eve, though.
Oops. I'm sorry. Those were mine. :P
