When we moved to Kentucky, I found one resource amazingly useful. That was my realtor’s website. It had all the MLS listings, useful information about the area, and contact information.

This website for Round Rock Texas real estate has all the same stuff. It has school information, and neighborhood demographics. They list many of the attractions in the area, such as golf courses and historical points of interest. They have links to places to apply for loans. They even have an on-line advisor to help you decide if the area is the right one for you.

But, of course, the most important part of their website is their MLS search. You input what you are looking for in a house, how much you’re willing to pay, and the area you’re looking in, and it’ll give you a list of houses with pictures. This is an invaluable tool when you’re looking for a house. So, if you're looking for a house in the Austin area, check them out.
